本期PUP邀请了新西兰奥克兰大学教育与社会工作学院应用语言学博士生王凯旋，他目前主要从事任务型语言教学和学习者在二语写作中的个体差异相关的研究。在本期讲座中，他将通过实证数据分析，带领大家共同探索运用显性策略教学与协作写作相结合的方法提高英语学习者写作水平，并促进其自我调节的可能性。

Incorporating Metacognitive Instructions with Collaborative Writing:

Effects on Chinese English-as-a-foreign-language (EFL) learners’ writing performance

内容摘要：

It is well-documented that metacognitive strategies are significant in helping L2 learners’ generation of written texts (Teng & Zhang, 2020; Xu, 2023). However, little is known about how explicit instruction in metacognitive strategies in conjunction with collaborative writing intervention would contribute to learners’ writing development. In this talk Wang will explore the potential of combining the benefits of explicit strategy instruction with collaborative writing as effective pedagogy for improving EFL students’ writing and facilitating their self-regulation with empirical evidence from a study conducted on Chinese EFL learners.
